The accessible ground floor also benefits from a beautiful master double bedroom with full en-suite bathroom and garden access, with period features in the room including a grand open fireplace and an original beamed ceiling. Upstairs, the 1st floor offers 3 spacious, well-lit bedrooms with garden views, comprising of a double en-suite bedroom, a double bedroom, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a shared family bathroom suite.

Please note the farmhouse forms part of a larger estate, where a 2nd holiday rental and the main villa (occupied by the owners) are located. As such, some outdoor areas are considered communal, including the seasonal outdoor swimming pool (open 15 June – 15 September, closes daily at 7pm), which is equipped with sun beds and parasols. A romantic shared dining terrace for larger groups of 10 with a wood-burning stove and BBQ can also be enjoyed.

From its panoramic setting, the Tuscan coastal towns of Versilia and the famous UNESCO world heritage cities of Lucca and Pisa are within easy driving distance, for enjoyable day trips and evenings out.

Location

Situated in a quiet, scenic setting along ‘Via di Compignano’ in Compignano, the holiday retreat is within 11-12 minutes' drive away from the local amenities of Massarosa and the delights of Massaciuccoli lake. The beautiful lido beaches and resort attractions of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi can be reached by car within 23-32 minutes. The famous sights of Pisa (34 minutes' drive away) and the medieval city charms of Lucca (26 minutes' drive away) and Florence (1.5 hour's drive away) also beg to be discovered. For those flying in, Pisa International airport is 36 minutes’ drive away.
