Location

From the beautifully-kept holiday residence, the Meina lakefront is right on the doorstep. Guests will find local shops, charming cafes, tree-lined piazzas and a useful passenger ferry service all close to hand.

From Meina, guests can easily soak up Lake Maggiore’s wide selection of activities and attractions. The stunning gardens of Isola Bella are easily reachable by boat from the nearby visitor town of Arona. The vibrant town of Arona is also home to cafes, restaurants, bars, tourist attractions and a commercial zone with shopping outlets.

The famous resort town of Stresa is also just a 20 minutes drive away, and offers a wealth of shops, markets and attractions to enjoy, including Villa Pallavicino. The Mottarone funicular railway from Stresa also offers the perfect opportunity to take in stunning panoramic lake views. For those wishing to explore the historical Borromeo Island, frequent boat rides also operate from the town.

Lake Maggiore’s leisure activities include swimming, hiking, golf, horse riding, biking, sailing, kayaking and nearby skiing.

Other then exploring the surrounding Italian Swiss Lake region too, guests can also venture to the Mediterranean for the day; with the gorgeous Ligurian Riviera just a 3 hours drive away.
