Location-

Situated along ‘Via di Vergaia’ in the Borgo di Matraia, the hilltop views across the Lucca countryside provide the perfect backdrop for a timeless Tuscan stay.

The authentic historical village is home to a number of Italian restaurants (such as ‘Ristorante Le Colonne’ and ‘Osteria Il Colle’, 3-4 minutes’ drive away).

In the semi-rural neighbourhood, visitors can enjoy hiking and cycling along the road and along the trails which run through the woods, olive groves and vineyards. Wine fans are also placed for taking a journey along the ‘Strade del Vino’ wine production route and taking a trip to ‘Fattoria Colle Verde’; for guided wine tours, wine tasting and seeing how local olive oil presses at work.
Just an 11 minutes’ drive away, guests can enjoy visiting Villa Marlia; a late-renaissance palazzo with beautiful gardens.
